Calculations and Operations
For AutoCAD 2010-20xx, BricsCAD, GstarCAD, ZwCAD
Overview
You have the ability in several commands to perform calculations and complex operations during their execution.
You can select numbers from the screen, calculate DH (height difference), perform operations, select Z of objects or points, and calculate Z with linear interpolation.
Available Commands
Command interface for calculations
E = Number Selection
E = Number selection
Select a number on the screen (from Text, Attribute, or Xref) or simply type a number.
D = DH Calculation
D = DH calculation
Enter the floor level and the ceiling level, and the DH (height difference) is calculated.
For each level, select on the screen (from Text, Attribute, or Xref) or simply type the number.
P = Operations
P = Operations
Operations with numbers that you select on the screen or type.
! = Z Selection
! = Z selection
Select the Z (elevation) of a point or object.
!! = Z with Linear Interpolation
!! = Z with linear interpolation
The Z of a point is calculated based on the slope of 2 other points that you select.
